Where to begin

We recommend all new SC Codes learners start here! This course will ensure you know how to navigate the learning platform, ask for help, and get the most out of your courses. You’ll also be introduced to the best ways to connect with a mentor.

JavaScript is one of the most widely used frontend programming languages today. This entry-level course is a great place to start learning the foundational concepts of programming and what you can do with the JavaScript programming language.

Ruby is a wonderful backend programming language for beginners to learn as its syntax is so high-level and easy to understand that it’s often considered as close as you can get to coding in English! This course will expose you to the foundational concepts needed to start programming in Ruby.
